After a weeks of suffering from seasonal-affective disorder, complimented by a slight depression concerning all things future-related, I’ve decided that perhaps life isn’t so bad.
Yeah, I’ll concede, that for most of us, life can really suck. Every waking moment is spent searching for food or water. Never feeling peace of mind. Always vigilant, ready to fight.
But life, in essence, isn’t so bad. Sometimes, I go through each day looking for trouble. More work to pile on, more stress to endure. It can take a toll. But after it’s all done; when AP exams are over and my senior year is finished, I’ll want something more to do. The need for a constant challenge.
So long as we work, be it for survival or stimulation, life is tolerable. It can even be enjoyable at times.
